A Bible Verse on Saving Money changed our lives over 10 years ago. I discovered that there are only two places in scripture that the Bible says that “God Commands a Blessing.” One is a popular verse in Psalms 133 that says that God commands the Blessing on Unity. But, the second Bible Verse I had never heard before and it would profoundly change out life.
Scripture on Saving Money
Deuteronomy 28:8 says
“The Lord will command the blessing on you in your storehouses and in all to which you set your hand, and He will bless you in the land which the Lord your God is giving you.”
We were broke. We had no money. And things were very difficult for our family. We definitely didn’t have a storehouse but after reading and studying this verse I was determined to get one.
This is our story of how we went from saving change (pennies, nickels, and quarters) to saving thousands of dollars, tens of thousands of dollars, and now hundreds of thousands of dollars.

I wanted to get a copy of his research, but he is a very sick man now and no longer even answers emails, as we had talked before a few times and is a friend of a very dear friend in Australia, Col Stringer.

Hi Don, thanks for your comment. Sadly, I cannot provide a link to cite this source. I have a number of Peter Daniels books and I have looked through them but can’t find where I recorded this information. I believe the information he shared was in a video interview I watched about 15-20 years ago. I have also tried to track down the video interview but have been unable to find it. All, I can say is that I was meticulous in recording the information and what he found and citing Peter J. Daniels as the source.
I like how you strategized here. Made my finding an extra $350 a month a lot more meaningful and savings possible. Thank you.
